Your AI Adoption Portal is your own page in The GAiGE. It shows what's waiting on you, your organisation's AI policies, what you've asked and answered, and what your organisation can see about you. You can use it on a computer or a phone, with or without the browser extension.
Opening itLink to this section
Sign in to The GAiGE with the email address your organisation invited you with. If you're a Member, AI Adoption Portal is at the top of the menu and opens when you sign in. If you're a leader or an admin, choose it from the menu beside your name.
Waiting on youLink to this section
The first thing on the page is anything that needs you:
- Pulses that are due, with Start. Each shows the tool and the pulse, and how long it takes or how many questions it has; a one-off pulse also shows the date it's needed by.
- Our AI policies, when there's a new version to read.
- Give feedback, where your organisation offers it, for anything you'd like to tell it between pulses.
Pulses appear here when they are due, the same ones the browser extension shows, so an answer given in one place counts in the other. On a phone, this is where you answer them.
Our AI policiesLink to this section
Our AI policies, in the menu, is your organisation's agreed policies on using AI at work, with each one's reason and examples, and the decision on each AI tool.
- For you shows the policies that apply to you, and All policies shows the rest.
- Read the full document opens the whole set, and Download the PDF saves it.
- I've read these confirms you've read the current version. Your organisation can see who has confirmed reading each version, and when a new version is published you're asked to read what changed and confirm again.
- Ask answers a question about what's allowed from the published policies and tool decisions, for example "what can I use to draft emails?". Questions you ask in Ask are recorded without names. If nothing answers it, choose Ask a person. Whoever answers a request sees your name, so they can get back to you, and the answer appears under Your requests. Where your team leader can read it too, selecting the person icon beside the button says so before you send, and you can tick Keep from my team leader.
Asking to use somethingLink to this section
Ask to use something, in the menu, is where you ask to use a tool the organisation hasn't decided on: say what you want to use and what for. The same page takes a report of something that happened, or something you found worth knowing. Requests and reports are identifiable, so whoever answers can get back to you: the person icon beside each form's button shows this, and selecting it shows Identifiable. On Pro, where your organisation has switched it on, your team leader can read your requests and finds too, if you sent them while you were in their group, and the icon says so; a report of something that went wrong goes only to the people who answer. The answer appears under Your requests and reports there, and under Your requests on your portal.
What else is on the pageLink to this section
- Changes since your answer: policies and tool decisions that have changed since you last answered a pulse.
- What changed: what your organisation has published for everyone.
- Messages: what your organisation has sent you, such as the team briefing.
- Your answers: your own answers, grouped by pulse, with each question as it was asked. On an anonymous pulse, your name isn't shown to anyone, admins included.
- What your organisation sees: exactly what your organisation can and can't see of your answers and your record. Who sees my answers? explains it in more detail.
- Your account: your groups, the tools recorded against you, whether your extension is connected, Install the extension if it isn't, and Download your data.
If you take part in the Leadership Position tool, your own part of it is here too, including Your final positions once the agreed position is confirmed.
On Pro, Roadmap in the menu shows the AI work your organisation has planned, started or adopted, so you know what's changing in your work.
Reminder emailsLink to this section
If something is waiting on you, we send one reminder email a week at most. You can turn it off in Settings, under Account, though you may then miss things your organisation needs from you. The AI State of Play has reminders of its own, until you've answered it. If you haven't answered a pulse in three months, we may also email you once to ask whether something is getting in the way. Your organisation sees only how many people chose each reason.
The browser extensionLink to this section
The extension is highly recommended. It shows your pulses in the browser when they're due, and what your organisation has decided about an AI tool when you open the tool's website. See Installing the browser extension.
