Your groups' requests and feedback, for Group Leaders

Updated 3 minutes to read

On this page

Availability: Pro, and every trial, where your organisation has switched on the Group Leaders' view of feedback.

As a Group Leader you can read what the people in your groups send in: what they've asked to use, the changes they've suggested to a policy, the tools they've found, and their General Feedback. It sits under Feedback on your Group Leaders page, below your groups' figures. A Senior Leader who leads a group sees the same for that group.

It's there so you know what your team needs and can help sooner. We recommend using it to support people rather than to assess them: someone who asks to use a tool, or says something isn't working, is doing what the organisation asked of them.

What's in itLink to this section

For each group you lead, with every group inside it, from the last 90 days:

  • Asks to use a tool, suggestions and tools found, with the person's name, the day they sent it, what they wrote, and the answer they were given, once there is one. You read them; the Owners and Admins who look after Feedback answer them.
  • General Feedback given with a name, with the name and the day.
  • Anonymous General Feedback, in its own list after everything else, with the day it was given, what it's about and the words only: no name and no tool. It shows once at least five people in that group, not counting you, have given some, the same rule Reports uses. Until then you see that rule instead, in the same words however many people have given feedback.

What never appearsLink to this section

  • Incident reports. Problems people report go to the Owners and Admins only. They aren't shown, counted or hinted at.
  • Anything sent before your organisation switched the view on, and anything sent from the browser extension until a release includes the change: those were sent knowing only the people who answer would read them.
  • Anything a person kept from you. Each request form has a Keep from my team leader choice beside Send, and an Admin can hide any item from Group Leaders.
  • Who answered, and the answer we recommended to them. You see the answer the person was given.
  • Something sent before the person joined your group, or from someone who has since left it or been deactivated: an item stays with the groups its sender was in when they sent it.

Things to knowLink to this section

  • It's read-only. There's nothing to answer, change, export or email from it.
  • Before your organisation first briefs its people about its AI policies, every request shows as Currently being reviewed, without the answer it was given.
  • People are told before they send. On a request form, the Identifiable mark says your team leader can see it too, and the person can keep it from you. Each person's own list of what they've sent says who sees each item.
  • Your own items show as everyone else's, if you belong to a group you lead and someone leads you too.
  • A person in two of your groups shows under each, as they do in Reports.
  • An Owner or Admin can switch the view off in Settings, which hides everything from Group Leaders at once.
