Availability: Pro, and every trial. On Standard, Reports shows hours saved without a dollar value; ROI is part of Pro.
If Reports shows Not added where you expect an ROI multiplier or a dollar value, one of the two things the ROI calculation needs is missing. Where it says No responses yet, nobody has answered about that tool in the period.
The two inputsLink to this section
ROI needs:
- Tool costs: what each tool costs the organisation
- A blended hourly rate: what an hour of your team's time is worth
If either is missing, the dollar figures are hidden. Hours saved still show, because they don't depend on either.
Quick checkLink to this section
Have you set a blended hourly rate?Link to this section
Go to Settings → Organisation and find the Reporting and ROI card. If Blended hourly rate is empty, that's it.
While it's empty, Reports also shows Hourly rate not added at the top, with a link to Settings.
See Setting your blended hourly rate for what to enter.
Have you set costs for your tools?Link to this section
Go to Governance → AI tools. A tool whose cost reads Not added is left out of the ROI calculation.
- If every tool's cost is Not added, the organisation's ROI reads Not added too.
- If some tools have costs and others don't, the ones without are left out of the cost total. Reports → Governance → Tools and renewals shows how many tools have a cost recorded.
To fix it: open the tool, choose Edit details and fill in Billing. See Setting tool costs and why it matters.
Other reasons a figure is missingLink to this section
- No answers in the period yet. If you've just started, people need to answer some pulses before there's anything to work out. Give it a week or so.
- Nothing to count in this view. If the period has no answers (for example, you filtered to a tool nobody used), there's no value to work out. Try another filter or a longer period.
- One tool's row in the tool table. Even with everything set up for the organisation, a tool's ROI shows only once that tool has a cost and at least one answer.
